Face & Body Art - FAQ
   
Q: What types of paint are used?
A: Professional cake face and body makeup. They are FDA approved made with either cocoa butter or bees wax. We never use Acrylic which has been known to cause allergic reactions. Always ask your artist what products they use on your child’s skin.
   
Q: How long do they last?
A: Water soluble paints typically last 1 - 2 days.
   
Q: How can you remove the paint?
A: Water soluble paints are easily removed with soap and warm water or makeup remover.
Sometimes sensitive skin may stain which can be removed by washing twice.
   
Q: How long does it take to apply?
A: Some designs can be created in 3 minutes. The more detail may vary on the skills of the artist.
   
Q: How do you apply your makeup?
A: We use either sponges, brushes or airbrush.
   
Q: How large a group can you handle?
A: On average 15-20 faces per hour, or depends on the skill of your artist.
   
Q: What other applicants do you have for face art?
A: From neon colors, metallic’s, shimmers, glitters, gems to latex.
   
Q: Can I do anything to preserve the art?
A: Don’t sweat or go swimming - really - barrier spray can help seal the skin.
   
Q: How many designs are available?
A: All depends on the skill of your artist. They will provide a showcase book or justyou’re your imagination. For specific ideas pictures can help.
   
Q: How much space does Show Offs need to work their magic?
A: An areas about 6x6. We need a table space and chairs.
